On December 8th, the Handan Hydrogen Equipment Development and Application Conference and the 20th Anniversary Conference of the Establishment of the Hydrogen Professional Committee of the China Gas Association were held in Handan. As one of the organizers, Li Junhua, Director and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the 718th Research Institute of China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation, attended the conference and delivered a speech. More than 150 representatives from research institutions, industry associations, and leading enterprises in the field of hydrogen energy across the country attended the conference.
Li Junhua warmly congratulates the successful holding of this conference, warmly welcomes all experts, and expresses sincere gratitude to friends from all walks of life who have long cared for, supported, and helped the development of the 718 Institute. Li Junhua pointed out that the development and utilization of hydrogen energy has become an important direction for the world's new energy transformation, and the development of the hydrogen energy industry is of great significance for ensuring national energy security. 718 Institute is one of the earliest national research institutes in China engaged in the research of electrolytic water hydrogen production technology. It has mature alkaline water electrolysis, SPE pure water electrolysis, and fossil fuel hydrogen production technologies, and has built the world's largest hydrogen production equipment production line with a single machine hydrogen production capacity. It has also undertaken multiple hydrogen refueling station demonstration projects, forming unique technological, talent, and industrial chain advantages in the field of hydrogen energy.
Li Junhua said that 718 Institute will rely on the newly established Perui Hydrogen Energy Technology Co., Ltd. to deepen its technical strength in hydrogen production, hydrogenation, vehicle mounted hydrogen systems and purification, form a more large-scale production capacity, continue to improve the competitiveness and influence of the hydrogen energy industry, promote Handan to become a national hydrogen energy demonstration application city with practical actions, and help the high-quality development of China's hydrogen energy industry.
At the meeting, Li Junhua had a discussion and exchange with representatives of the Hydrogen Professional Committee of the China Gas Association on the route and application of hydrogen energy technology, jointly exploring new opportunities and directions for future development, and visiting the Handan Hydrogen Energy Equipment Industrial Park together.
Feng Donghui, Deputy Director of 718 Institute, Gong Zhigang, and relevant department heads attended the conference.
